a little bit about the crew:
Ben Bentley: Sculptor / Creator
Formerly Ben worked with Angel Forge as one of their top sculptors. During his tenure at Angel Forge, Ben designed and sculpted various figures in a variety of styles. After Angel Forge, Ben focused on his own designs while dreaming up The Plague Wars! As the father of the Plague Wars, Ben has developed the backstory and character development.
Ben's collection is massive! Ben focuses on GI Joe and Star Wars figures.
Ben owns the holy grail of GI Joe collectibles (The USS FLAGG) and has designed a complete deck crew for the ship. Seriously—the ENTIRE freaking crew! You need a medic—you got it. Flight deck commander—yep! Random crewman that doesn't look like Shipwreck—check! That dude that waves the mini lightsabers around—yeah, he's there too!
Like I said, the ENTIRE DECK CREW!
Ben is the sculptor and designer for every single figure, accessory, diorama, and animal in the Plague Wars line of toys!
Ben also works at Georgia Southern University in the communications department.
Chris Mitchell: Marketing Director
Chris runs eight companies and is EXTREMELY passionate about each one. They are as follows: Pladd Dot Music, CMG Guitars, Devilcat Amplifiers, Pladd Dot Publishing, Pladd Dot Records, RosterHound, and Pladd Dot Toys.
Yep. Running all of those companies keeps him extremely busy but he wouldn't have it any other way.
Chris's full time day job is running Pladd Dot Music (and all of the subsidiary companies). He has an extensive toy collection focusing on 1:18 scale (Star Wars and GI JOE) as well as 1:6 Scale Hot Toys collection.
His favorite figure is probably Boba Fett. Never trade the Fett! And although he has a hidden bookshelf door in his house (leading to his mancave), he's still Jealous of Ben's USS FLAGG.
Chris is the graphic designer, web guy, marketing director, and business man (without the suit) for the Plague Wars! Chris is also lucky to be married to the real life Bouncin' Betty (his wife, Ashlee)!
David Waters: Art Director
David will be handling all of the comic book art and character artwork for the product line.
David's personal collection is focused heavily on Hot Toys 1:6 scale. He just got the Hulkbuster and DEAR GOD IT IS HUGE!!! We're talking biblical proportions, people!!!
He can also be seen at local watering holes mixing up a mean drink!
